Star Festival Party

We held a start festival party. We gathered in the playroom. To begin with, staff performed a *panel theater about Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair) from an old Chinese story. (*A “panel theater” is a performance using visual boards.) And then each class showed bamboo decoration and other crafts, and the 5-year-old children played instruments. It was a fun event. We wrote our wishes on strips of paper to wish upon a star.

What kind of bamboo decorations did each class make? They have a show and tell.	A display of star festival crafts created by each class! They made Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair) with origami.
Hand bell performance by 5-year-old children♪ They played “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. They were a little bit nervous…	These are tone chimes. The sound is softer than Hand bells. They played “The Star Festival”♪
