Hunting for fireflies

We had our first sleepover trip for the oldest children at our villa in Tanba. The children enjoyed the rich nature of Tanba, looking at the flowers and bugs with gleaming eyes. More fireflies were flying compared to last year, and it was very beautiful. Many guardians joined in and helped this event again this year. We all played in the river and enjoyed hunting for fireflies. The children grew up a little bit in this 2 day sleepover trip.

The children are curious about
the various creatures in the water♪
I found a newt with a red belly.

Mountain spring water from a bamboo tube.
It’s cold and feels so good!

The crab threw a peace sign for her!

Many plums have fallen.

Cleaning up by ourselves!

We caught a lot of fireflies.
But of course, we released them.

The lights of the fireflies are beautiful, aren’t they?

Good morning!

Going for a morning walk to the nearby temple nearby.

We caught a bug! So…who is going to let it out?

Eating lunch outside is so much fun☆
