Class Observation

Kazenoko Hoikuen holds a class observation at the end of the year. The purpose of this is for guardians to see and get a feel of the childrenfs daily lifestyles and their relationships with friends. It is not a formal presentation but an ensemble of the play and songs the children usually enjoy, accompanied by discussions of what each child enjoys and wants to try. Before the day of the class observation, the older children invited the younger children to join in, and children became motivated to take part when they saw their friends trying it. This whole process of working together and encouraging each other was important and made the class observation more meaningful. The children seemed to be nervous in front of so many guardians and siblings that day, but seeing them enjoying themselves happily with their friends left a strong impression.
