◆Making a button aid to help button a shirt （April, 2013）
“Aid for buttoning a shirt” is an aid to help putting buttons in the buttonholes.
Ms. A lost the control of her hands, so it takes time for her to button
a shirt. Therefore, when she doesn’t have enough time, she needs someone
to help doing that. She had wanted to put buttons in the buttonholes by
herself for a long time. On the other hand, Mr. B uses the aid for buttoning
a shirt at home. A heard that B was talking about the aid with the member
staff at our Day service center. A asked about the aid from B and he decided
to make the button aid to help button a shirt” for A. Our work centered
on B. We thought about how we could make a good button aid for A by making
a great effort. A couple of months passed, and the button aid was finally
completed. A was really happy for it. |
