@Daycare centers for children and adults with disabilities in Nishiyodogawa ward held a gFureau Hirobah Community Event with Adults and Children with Disabilitiesh on May 24th (Sat.). This is the third event, hosted by Njshiyodogawa Ward Council in Support of the Independence of Persons with Disabilities.
@Stalls selling fried chicken, seasoned rice, bread and cookies were set up and a live singing and dancing performance
AKB48 cover group took place. Approximately 200 people came and enjoyed the event. A dance group from the local elementary school also participated in the event for the first time and livened things up. gNiiyonh, the Nishiyodogawa ward mascot, got the audience excited and Mayor Nishida from Nishiyodogawa ward also came. It was a very enjoyable day for the people with disabilities in the ward.
@Our staff also took part in the planning, coordination between centers and hosting the event on the day. Council in Support of the Independence of Persons with Disabilities will consider holding a larger event next year. As members, we would like to say a big, gThank youh for coming to the event!

ƒStaff Comment„I helped one of our clients who assisted the host on stage. She was nervous at the beginning. However, when the performance started, she managed to speak loudly in front of the audience and it was a great success. I enjoyed watching everyone singing and dancing happily on stage. There was even a time when the audience came on to the stage and danced together. We would like to continue deepening exchanges with people with disabilities in the community through such events in the future.

The client challenged hosting the event.
She was very nervous, but accomplished the task perfectly.
Mayor Nishida from Nishiyodogawa ward also came.
