Nature School (September)

For our third Nature School outing, we went to Tanba in search for autumn. When we arrived there, we heard crickets singing everywhere! The children really enjoyed catching insects and watching lizards. After that, we pulled the sweet potato vine apart and separated the edible vines from the main vine. In the afternoon, a guardian guided us and we climbed a mountain. We took some difficult roads, but we supported each other and came back safely. For a snack we had buttered potatoes and vines with sweet and sour sauce♪ “It tastes good〜.!” Fingers reached out one after another, and before long it was all gone.
We found many insects when we arrived at Tanba!
