Year-end and New Year

We did a spring-cleaning at the end of the year and played traditional New Year games at the beginning of the new year. Children made rooms sparkle they had used for a year by themselves. At the beginning of the new year, we ate traditional New Year food which the kitchen staff prepared for us and went to a festival at a shrine. We fully enjoyed the Japanese New Year.
The children heaved a big tatami mat and cleaned.
