Planting rice (From June)

We got a share of the paddy from Kazenoko Sodachien, so we planted some rice. We went to buy buckets, and then we added fertilizer and made soil in the Kazenoko Baby Home garden. We had a lively time planting them. Though it was the first time for most of the children, some had experience from their grandparents. It was hard to carry buckets which contained water and soil from the Baby Home to the Jidokan, but we managed with the help of other children and guardians. We are looking forward to the fall, when the rice will be ready.
