Main Activities
<Seasons>
We organize events for all four seasons and provide a chance to learn about Japanese traditions.

<Daily Life>
The children play freely at the Kazenoko Jidokan or in the Kazenoko Baby Home garden. They enjoy activities not only with the same graders but also with other graders.

<Dietary Education>
We are making some dishes for lunch and snacks with the children during the long vacation. We would like children to become interested in food and increase their enjoyment of eating through cooking by themselves.

<Exchanges>
We deepen exchanges with other centers in our corporation such as Kazenoko Hoikuen, Kazenoko Baby Home and Suisen no Ie. They develop more sympathy and a sense of care through these exchanges and by leading a helping hand.

<Events>
We work on various events with the help of the guardians. Children as well as adults enjoy participating in the events.

<Nature School>
We use our facility in the countryside to be in closer contact with nature. The children go to Tanba in Hyogo prefecture or Hira (near Biwa lake) in Shiga prefecture, to stimulate in the senses and feel relaxed in nature. Some children who graduated from Kazenoko Hoikuen also join the activities.

<Gardening>
Together with the children, we cultivate soil, plant seeds or vegetables, and water them. Children who have less opportunity to touch the soil on a daily basis, cultivate vegetables, observe their growth and are looking forward to harvesting them.

Daily Activities
We tell children to do their homework. Please talk to your child about their homework and check it at home too.
Children play indoors or outdoors after snack time. We try to create an at-home atmosphere and make lunch, snacks, and crafts on some days.
We organize activities such as going to the mall and buying snacks, etc. so that children can communicate with people in the community and learn the manners or rules of social life.
Children go help the classes at the Kazenoko Baby Home and Kazenoko Hoikuen.
We try to help with communication between a child and their parents. We talk to the parents about their child’s feelings and we try to consider the problems that occur in the process of growing up.

Activities during Long Vacations (Spring, Summer, and Winter vacations)
We offer childcare from the morning during long vacations such as spring, summer and winter vacations.
We offer activities that cannot be included within the everyday, for children to have various experiences especially during the long summer vacation. (Camping, going to a pool, and educational trip, etc.)
With the exception of outing days, we are considering setting a study time in the mornings in order for children to do homework or free study voluntarily.
Children go to Kazenoko Hoikuen, Baby Home and Suisen no Ie to help. We value this experience as it engenders a sense of caring for other people and allows them to recognize their worth through this help.

Parent-teacher Group Meeting
General Meeting We will discuss everyday life and efforts at Kazenoko Jidokan.
Parent-teacher Group Meetings for Each Grade Parents of children in the same year will talk about common topics.
