◇Joining the Dietary Education Exhibition (2018)
The Sixth Higashiyodogawa Ward Dietary Education Exhibition was held under the theme “Eat smart and get energy!” at the Higashiyodogawa Ward office. Related organizations such as Kazenoko Hoikuen, Higashiyodogawa Ward Child-Raising Support Center and Osaka Seikei College students joined the event. There were many people this year because another annual event, "Minori Chan Festival", which is held elsewhere, was organized around the same time. We introduced diets valuable for nurturing a child’s body and soul, such as our lunch menu, and displayed photos of children making sweet potato dessert and dried daikon with ingredients harvested from Tanba no Ie. (Tanba no Ie is a house for outdoor experiences in Tanba that our corporation owns.) We ran a booth where children could play with a food coloring book and clay made of wheat flour. The children could be seen having a fun time.
