Content: When the child came home on Saturday, her mother realized the lunch boxfs hook was broken and wasnft closed tightly. She wanted us to tell her about it even though it was not expensive and nothing can be done about it being broken.
Correspondent: We apologized.
Measure: Staff made sure to be careful in the future.

Reception date: August 18th
Applicant: A guardian
Content: The child was playing with the toy but left the place and the toy, and then another child came and started to use the toy. When the child came back, they got in a fight about the toy. Even though the staff member spoke to the other child, the childfs mother thought the staff was protecting that child and had been unfair to her child.
Correspondent: We apologized.
Measure: We discussed whether we treat children differently or not, and agreed to be careful about treating children fairly.

Reception date: September 13th
Applicant: A guardian
Content: In case a child acquires an infection which requires doctorfs certificate to come to our daycare center, he or she needs to have a checkup beforehand at a hospital and get permission from the doctor to return, and then his or her mother is supposed to fill out the form. However, some parents fill out the form without having the checkup. I think it is unfair.
Correspondent: We explained how the system changed from a doctorfs certificate to a self-reported form.
Measure: We discussed asking hospitals to fill out the form so that parents donft think itfs unfair.

Reception date: November 14th

Content: The child had a bite of salad with dressing containing eggs, even though he has an allergy to eggs. Why did such a thing happen? Please be more careful.
Correspondent: We apologized as well as explained that we would review our support in order for this not to reoccur in the future.
Measure: We check allergy measures once again among staff.

Content: The child brought broken chopsticks home. The staff didnft mention it, so I was worried whether the staff look after children properly.
Correspondent: We apologized.
Measure: We found out the child bit the chopsticks and broke them during the meal. We told the child to tell her mother when she arrives, next time a similar thing happens.

Reception date: December 18th

Content: When we ate lunch, we borrowed an apron from the center, and it was moldy. This is unsanitary. Troubles between children canft be helped, but please be careful with adult concerns.
Correspondent: We apologized for making them feel unpleasant, because we didnft use it for a long time and there were black spots.
Measure: We checked all the other classesf clothes and towels to see if they were moldy.

Reception date: December 26th
Applicant: A guardian
Content: We planned to create a newsletter of the parentfs association, print and distribute them. However, after wefd finished, we heard we needed permission from the executive director, so when we showed him the newsletter, we had to correct some parts. If we need permission from the executive director, we want to know in advance.
Correspondent: We apologized.
Measure: We explained again that we would like the parentfs association to get permission from the executive director in the future, even though these newsletters are from the parentfs association. However, they are still distributed from our center.
